Finally the last school day! I can’t believe it! Yuppie! I’m going to get rid of all the paper work, turn off, pick up a pile of good books and relax with a nice view by the sea! No paper work, no tests, no exams, no stress, no class preparation…aha! Life is wonderful now!
2 or 3 days later…
Well, I miss the hustle and bustle of eTwinning and my eTwinning colleagues! Let’s take a quick glimpse at the eTwinning platform: -“secret life”! Hmm! This project seems irresistible! Ahh, that feels wonderful!…and my friends Maria and Marcos are the founders! That’s what I need now! Let’s leave here a message for them! I’m not so sure I have a gift for writing but let’s give it a try!
And that’s the way eTwinners are always dealing with projects, eTwinner friends, challenges and… they never turn off! eTwinning for them is as important for them as the air they breathe.
Whenever they have a chance, they meet their eTwinner partners face to face, travelling to their hometowns and getting in touch with their culture and lifestyles. If that’s impossible, they start their virtual trips by immersing in new eTwinning projects for teachers only (as their students are on holiday), exchange emails or facebook messages, collaborate in twinspace or plan the most exciting activities for the new school year with their students.
The huge impact of eTwinning and its contribution for a happy environment with teachers and students is well-known at schools as well as its improvement on important transversal skils such as: creativity, team work, problem-solving and decision taking.
And that’s why I’m sure our “secret life” will turn into an amazing ebook full of creativity and another successful experience in eTwinning!
