“Kids, we got a new toy! It's a Toolbox!” This caused excitement, and the happiest were David and Marco. They both love tools very much, but… Marco is quicker than David, and he takes the tool every day before David comes. “It is mine now”, he said to David
David is sitting in the corner, he let out a long sigh of despair. I'm sitting next to him.
“Why don't you tell Marco that you want to play with the tool, ” I'm asking him.
“But he will be mad at me… Maybe he will hit me… I'm afraid ” said David.
“I know what you need now, You need courage”
“Courage?”, he wondered. “Yes, courage to say how you feel”.
“ How I feel…But where to find it?”
I caught him by the hand and told him: “Take a deep breath, then inhale and exhale several times…. Call your courage, because it's there, inside you”.
He looked at me with suspicion: "Maybe I can try..."
"Try it, please. You can't lose anything..."
David closed his eyes and He breathed calmly in a while…
Suddenly, he opened his eyes and quietly said: “I think courage is here, I want to try…”
He walked slowly towards Marco.
"Hi, Marco. I want to said something. I like this tool too. I want to play with it. When you do not want to play with me, I feel lonely…and very sad…”
Marko is silent. He is thinking about what he heard.
“I'm very sorry. I don't understand you feel like that.
We can play together! What do you think about that?”
Later, David came to me. He hugged me:" Marco and I were playing together all day. It was great! Thank you for helping me find this beautiful magic, teacher! I know now is inside me, and I can call it whenever I need it!
