Super central heating

* Marcos Vence

So cool... I mean, so cold...

This was a terrible nine-months Winter, as the previous twelve. Since I became teacher, Winters seems to be more and more cold. That's really bad for me: I don't stand low temperatures. My flesh seems to be made of stone, it hurts and weights...

Summers are short in Galicia and I never had time enough to "recharge batteries" for the next school year. In a figurative way.

But this Summer things have been different, I've developed a super power! Well, "developed" with the aid of my crazy sister, who is a crazy scientist working for the (crazy) national health system as administrative staff.

She accesses laboratories secretly, where she creates sets of inventions more or less useful. To the point: "Super Skin" is her master work and I was her guinea pig.

First I was radiated with a modified scanner and then she implanted into my body a tiny battery. Now, my skin acts as a solar panel recharging the battery in Summer. Next Winter, I'll have an extra internal heating system that will relax my muscles and my character.

This way, my lessons of Maths won't be "cold" anymore and my pupils will be thankful for it! I’m imagining myself teaching derivatives and integrals, feeling heat on my back, with a ear-to-ear smile.

I have still a couple of weeks to complete the “charging mode”!

So warm, so hot...
